Greetings from Women’s Association IIT Kanpur!
As we return from summer, the rains have brought a lush green landscape across our campus. We are delighted to announce that our WA membership drive is going splendidly.
To kick off our activities, WA is excited to present our first event:
Sunday, August 4th
5:30 pm – 7:00 pm
This celebration is open to all ladies on campus, and we eagerly look forward to seeing you all there.
Highlights of the Event:
- Fashion Walk: Our stunning members will have the opportunity to participate in a ramp walk showcasing various traditional attires such as Lehanga saree, Suit, Pant saree, traditional co-ord sets, Lehanga, and more.
- Note: There will be a rehearsal for the fashion walk on August 3rd. Participation is exclusive to members, so if you are not yet a member, please join us!
- Savan Songs: Enjoy enchanting Savan songs performed by Amravati Biswas ji and others.
- Mehndi and Ghumoor: Indulge in beautiful Mehndi designs and traditional Ghumoor dance.
- Chaat Party: Savor a delightful Chaat party featuring mouth-watering warm jalebis.
- Exhibitions: Explore exclusive exhibitions by Sana Jewellery, Sandeep Solo's T-shirts, and Priti's fashionable clothes.
