About Us
The membership of the Samiti means all those employee of Institute, who have been accepted as member and subscription is being made for Samiti.
The 'General Body' means the all the members of the Samiti.
The "Executive Committee" means the committee of Executive members of the samiti, which shall be constituted according to bye laws.
The President means, the President of the Samiti, who has been elected according to the bye-laws.
The General Secretary means, the General Secretary of the Samiti, who has been elected according to the bye-laws.
The Treasurer means, the Treasurer of the Samiti, who has been elected according to the bye-laws.
Purpose and Objectives
The main objectives of the Samiti shall be:
To promote the thoughts and collection of literature of Dr. B R Ambedkar and other dignitaries and preach their teaching among masses.
To foster friendly relations and establish mutual understanding among members and employees through constitutional means.
To take interests in all kind of activities except political calculated to promote welfare and prosperity of SC/ST employees.
To work for the welfare of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe woman employees to protect them from unnecessary harassment.
To work for the education, social and economic well being of Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe and their dependents.
To provide Service Safeguards against the Atrocity, exploitation to SC/ST/OBC & Minorities Employees in Institute and to promote and protect their fundamental rights in their professional system.
To inquire into specific complaints with respect to the deprivation of rights and safeguards in the interests of SC/ST/OBC & Minorities Employees in Institute.
To discharge such other functions in relation to the protection, welfare, development and advancement of the SC/ST/OBC & Minorities Employees in Institute, as the Executive committee may, subject to the provisions of any law made by Parliament, by rule specify.
For effective implementation of various safeguards provided in the Constitution for the SC/ST/OBC & Minorities Employees and various other protective legislations.
