FOR REGULAR PhD
The applicant must have a masters degree in civil engineering with 65% or 6.5 CPI, as long as it is not less than minimum pass marks; otherwise the specified minimum marks implies the minimum pass marks /CPI.
Applicants with a bachelors degree in civil engineering with a minimum of 75% marks or 7.5 CPI.
FOR CONVERTED PhD.
A student registered for the M. Tech programme may be allowed in the beginning of 2nd/3rd/4th semester to change his/her registration to the Ph.D. programme with a minimum of 12 credits through work , and has a CPI of atleast 7.0.
