STUDENT HOSTED COLLOQUIA

In addition to the regular department seminars, the Chemical Society has started as Student Hosted Colloquium series, in which eminent scientists are invited to visit the Chemistry department, IIT Kanpur and deliver an invited lecture. All arrangements for the visit i.e. travel, accomodation, hospitality, seminar arrangements, visit schedule and other requirements of the speakers are completely managed by the students. The symposium allows for informal interaction between the student and the speaker and greatly encourages the students and motivates them in their own research. In addition, they also improve their organizational and interpersonal skills.
