PARWA 2026 (Postgraduate Alumni Reconnecting With Alma Mater) is a flagship initiative and the first-ever exclusive reunion dedicated to IIT Kanpur’s postgraduate alumni. Building on the success of PARWA 2025, which saw more than 100 alumni return to campus, this edition brings together PG alumni from the institute’s first six decades (1960–2020). It offers a special opportunity to reconnect with friends and mentors, relive cherished memories, rediscover the evolving campus, and celebrate the shared legacy of IIT Kanpur.

Yes. Alumni can register their accompanying family members, including their spouse and children, while completing the registration process. Please provide the required details of all accompanying family members to help us make the necessary arrangements.
On-campus accommodation is limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. Assistance will also be provided for hotel bookings in Kanpur.
Yes, IIT Kanpur welcomes alumni attending PARWA with their families. Accommodation arrangements for accompanying family members will be subject to availability and the applicable charges.
Transportation can be availed on a payment basis after completing your registration. The booking process and payment details will be shared with registered participants.
After registration, a drive link containing transportation details—including available pick-up points such as Lucknow Airport and Kanpur Central Railway Station, schedules, charges, and booking instructions—will be shared with all registered participants.
The schedule will be finalized based on participant responses. It will include networking opportunities, nostalgic activities, and institute sessions.
