11.
All
lifeguards (permanent as well as temporary) should be required to attend a
one-week camp before the start of swimming season. Apart from sharpening their
swimming and life saving skills, they should be provided appropriate first-aid
training during this camp by qualified experts. Physical Education Section may
organise such camp at lIT - Kanpur swimming pool itself.
12.
Before
issuing membership pass to a person proper check must be made to verify the
authenticity of applicant from official records like Health Centre Booklet,
Identity Card, etc.
13.
Members
may be allowed to bring one guest for a maximum of two days in a week on
payment at a rate prescribed by Swimming Pool Management Committee.
