Description: This one week course was organized for Doordarshan engineers where the basic idea was to provide the state of art knowledge to working engineers in some specialized of RF and Microwave Engineering relevant to their field of work. The participants were also given a demonstration on some practical aspects of microwave technology, and they were allowed to perform various experiments in the lab.
- Mini Course on Microwave Material Processing Applications

Description: This course was organized as a part of the 35th IEEE International Conference on Plasma Science (http://www.icops2008.org) in Karlsruhe, Germany. Dr. M. J . Akhtar was invited to lecture at the Mini course forum where ten chosen experts from all around the world working on various aspects of the microwave material processing served as instructors. He enlightened the attendees with various dielectric measurement techniques relevant for the microwave material processing applications. His part of lecture also dealt with some advanced methods especially developed for characterizing highly conducting composites and various kinds of resins.
