Accommodation 

Option 1 (Free Accommodation)

We will provide accommodation in the guest rooms of the students hostel on twin sharing basis (double bed room shared by two people). These rooms will have Air Coolers. We will not charge any amount for these rooms.

In addition, breakfast, lunch and dinner will be arranged in one of the hall mess without any extra cost. All participants are strongly urged to avail this facility.

Option 2 (Paid Accommodation)

Participants requiring better/personal accommodation will have to bear the cost and extra expenses of the room. Accommodation for such candidates will be arranged either in the Visitor's Hostel OR Visitor's Hostel Extension subject to availability.

There are two Guest Houses in the IITK campus- Visitor Hostel (VH) and Visitor Hostel Extension (VH-Ext)  and  the charges of these rooms are as follows (GST will be charged as per rules, if applicable):

Kindly note that we are not promising or guaranteeing the accommodation in the VH or VH-Ext. This will be explored after getting your confirmation. The sooner you respond, more chances of getting it. The rooms are allotted on first come first serve basis.

The Visitor Hostel (VH) also have food arrangement (The VH-Extension does not have food arrangement).

The prices of food in Visitor Hostel (VH)  are as follows:-
Breakfast:  Rs. 90/-
Lunch: Rs. 170/- (Veg.),    Rs. 275/-  (Non-Veg)
Dinner: Rs. 170/- (Veg.),   Rs. 275/-  (Non-Veg)
 

Please note that if you take food in VH, you will have to pay from your own resources.
