Awards
Best Outgoing Sportsmen: The Games Council, if they find some one most deserving and outstanding, will propose names
or this award. The Games & Sports Committee will decide whether to give or not to give this
award in a particular year after giving due consideration to the recommendation of Games Council
and approval of the Games & Sports Committee.
Most Promising Incoming Sportsmen:
Outstanding sportsmen from amongst the students in the first year of their program of study will
be given this award on the recommendation of Games Council and approval of the
Games
& Sports Committee.
Silver Medals: Any student improving upon an institute athletics record will
be awarded a silver medal or
any other suitable award by the Games & Sports Committee at its discretion.
Mementoes:
Outgoing students fulfilling the Inter IIT Attendance Criteria for Institute Blues but not getting any
award will be
given mementoes if recommended by the Games Council and approved by the
Games & Sports Committee.
Other:
The Games & Sports Committee will award members along with the coach of teams winning
Gold in Inter IIT Meet with cash prizes of a value decided by it.
Expenses for these awards will be borne out of the Students' Gymkhana Games and Sports budget.
