The workshop will focus on the crucial question of how to design and
implement quality assurance systems capable of promoting:

The pedagogic development of teachers,

The quality experienced by the students in the
classroom, and
-
Academic excellence in higher education institutions
Setting up a quality assurance system capable of responding to the different
needs and demands of the internal and the external stakeholders in a knowledge
driven economy is indeed a challenge.
The workshop will deal with the issues involved by building on Indian
and European experiences and good practices in quality assurance, with
a primary focus on quality work involving teachers and students at the
department level.
This will be an interactive workshop where participants are invited to
actively contribute to the group discussions and with papers.
The expected outcomes are recommendations and a roadmap, including the
identification of possible areas of joint action and cooperation for improved
academic excellence in Indian and EU higher technical educational institutions.
