Full financial support will be available
to a number of applicants (click
here to check the status
of your application) for
participating in ICWM 2010.
The support consists of
1. Registration fee waiver
2. Travel support
3. Accommodation.
1.
Applicants with financial support should not register themselves. The
conference will get them registered as exempt from registration fee.
Tea and lunch will be available in the conference for
the days 17th and 18th August. In addition, the conference organizers
will give a contingency allowance of Rs 100 per day.
2.a. Travel Support for
Faculty/Scientists/Post Doctoral Fellows from India – For applicants
belonging to this category, ICWM 2010 organising committee will
reimburse the travel costs from the city of their home institution to
Hyderabad and return subject to the following restrictions:
i) For distances less
than 1000 kms the travel support would be restricted to actuals
or Rs 6000 whichever is less.
ii) For distances above 1000 kms the
travel support would be restricted to actuals or Rs 10,000
whichever is less.
iii) For the north-eastern states ( Assam, Meghalaya, Tripura,
Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland and Arunachal
Pradesh) and Jammu and Kashmir the travel support would be restricted to
actuals or Rs14,000 whichever is less.
2.b. Travel Support for Research
Scholars from India – Research Scholars in this category availing travel
support will be reimbursed III Class AC train fare or actually paid
amount for travel from the city of their institution to Hyderabad and
return.
2.c. Travel support for international
participants -- Travel support for applicants in
this category would be restricted to actuals or Rs. 20,000 whichever is
less.
3. Accommodation – Applicants
availing this support get accommodation from ICWM2010 organsing
committee (on sharing basis) and breakfast.
It should be understood that in order to
qualify for travel support you are required to attend the conference for
its entire duration, 17th-18th August.
The travel and contingency allowance will
be sent by cheque after the conference on receipt of the duly filled
claim forms accompanied by copies of all tickets. If anyone is also
selected for ICM travel support, then the awardee can claim
reimbursement either from ICWM or from ICM 2010 EOC.
It is mandatory for all research scholars
to bring a photo identity card and proof of affiliation from the
institute they are studying. We advise all participants to carry a photo
Id card.
