Oral Presentations
The duration of a presentation is approximately 20 minutes, of which 17 minutes may be used for presentation itself and 3 minutes may be used to answer questions from the audience. An LCD projector and a laptop will be available in every session room for regular presentations. It is strongly recommended that the authors bring along their presentations in memory sticks. Since the LCD projector only has a VGA port (and no HDMI port), presenters who would like to use their own laptops should ensure compatibility. Files may be uploaded in the computers in the lecture room during the breaks between sessions.
General Suggestions
- Put about 4-5 bullet points on each slide
- Each bullet should be 1-2 phrases, preferably fitting into a single line.
- Try not to exceed 20 words per slide
- All fonts should be 20 points or higher
- Leave sufficient space between lines
Poster Presentations
A large number of posters will be exhibited in the poster session of the conference. To have a smooth run of the session, it is essential that the presenter puts up his/her posters before the start of the session. The size of the poster panel available to the presenter is 4 ft (H) x 6 ft (W). The presenter is free to choose a single, full sized poster or a collection of several small sized posters (e.g., A4 sized papers) that fit within the given area. Tapes / pins will be available for putting up the posters. The posters will be classified in three broad categories, namely, communications, signal processing and networking. There will be three separate poster zones accordingly. The presenter’s poster will be enlisted on the panel in respective poster area.
