BIG Conclave Edition 6.0: BIRAC to hold its annual innovation showcase event with SIIC IIT Kanpur

Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh - Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) along with Startup Incubation and Innovation Centre (SIIC), IIT Kanpur is organizing its annual flagship event BIG Conclave. 6th Edition of the event with the theme ‘Resilience Redefined’ will bring Technical Experts, Global Business Leaders, Innovators and Entrepreneurs on a common virtual platform to unveil the trailblazing innovations supported by BIRAC through its Biotechnology Ignition Grant (BIG) Program. The event kicks off on Friday, November 27 on a Virtual Platform.

The conclave shall offer a splendid platform to the BIG Community with 550+ supported entrepreneurs to showcase and promulgate their work to numerous stakeholders and contributors in various domains of Biotechnology such as healthcare, agriculture etc. This two day event aims to benefit the innovators by garnering the resources and network indispensable for their success.

It's a matter of pride to announce that Mr. Jayant Sinha, Member of Parliament and former Union Minister, Government of India will be the Chief Guest for the event. Dr. Renu Swarup, Secretary Department of Biotechnology, Government of India and Chairperson, BIRAC along with Padma Vibhushan Dr RA Mashelkar, Former Director General CSIR (Guest of Honour) will be the Guests of Honor for the event. Day 2 of the event will commence with a special session ‘Voice that Inspires’ by Padma Bhushan Mr. S. Gopalakrishnan, Chairman, Axilor Ventures and co-founder Infosys.
