My research focuses on the design and development of generalisation algorithms to derive a multiple representation database (MRDB).

The generalisation algorithms find its application in deriving small scale geodatabase from large scale, integrating data from different sources and visualisation. In addition to that they can be used to drive MRDB, this helps in maintaining the geodatabase which is up-to-date and consistent.
