1. How can I register? What are the registration rates?

2. How can I reach IIT Kanpur.
Kanpur is well connected through Rail, Road and Air link. IIT Kanpur is located on Delhi-Kolkata GT Road about 16 Kms from Kanpur Central Railway Station. Taxi (Rs. 200-250) and auto (Rs. 150-200) services are available from the railway station on hire. The nearest airport is in Lucknow (90 KM). Direct Taxis (about Rs. 1500-1800) from Lucknow Airport to IIT Campus are available on hire.

3. Accomodation Facility in IIT Kanpur

Accommodation is arranged for the participants at first come first serve basis at the Visitors' Hostel (VH), HALL 7, HALL 8 and HALL 11 for male participants (students), GH-1 for female participants (students). The participants would have limited access to internet / e-mail from the campus. All rooms in the VH have LAN access. Please refer to this link for accomodation charges for Category B.

 

4. Can I bring my family here?

You can bring your family but charges will be applicable as per the rule.
