Rate List

• The overall infrastructure is clubbed under two categories, general and high-end or limited availability (in green, in the table above) infrastructure.
• An incubated company will be granted access to the infrastructure either (i) upon registering for usage (see 2-5 below) or (ii) per usage basis (no package price will be available and the rate list above will be applicable).
• Companies registered for “General Infrastructure Package” use will charged a consolidated Rupees 3000/month and would have 24/7 unlimited access to all the equipment other than the ones highlighted in green.
• Rupees 5000/month would be charged for the “Comprehensive package” i.e. “General Infrastructure” + any three of the green highlighted ones (clean room NOT included).
• Rupees 10,000/month would be charged for the “Comprehensive Package” the access to any of the infrastructure within Bioincubator@iitk (clean room NOT included).
• While the companies will have access to the Bioincubator@iitkand the infrastructure therein but if operation/use of any infrastructure has to be done in presence of a technician and/or facility manager then access will be limited to 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday.
• The above rate list is applicable for companies that are NOT registered to use any of the above mentioned packages at Bioincubator@iitk OR for use by faculty members of IIT Kanpur.
• One will not be allowed to use more than half tray space for CO2 Incubator and -80 Deg Deep Freezer storage. A request for extra space may be considered. However charges would be applied according to the above rate list.
• Rate list may be revised time to time.
• The terms and conditions of this usage policy may change without prior notice, however, that change will not be effective on agreements that are in vogue at the time of change.

Proposed Plan for Chemicals and Consumables –

Practically it would not be possible for an incubation centre to have all the required chemicals/consumables. It is suggested that each company should order the required chemicals/consumables/disposables as per their project need.
