RDSO now conforms to International standards of Environment Management, Energy Management and Employee Safety at work place. In line with this, RDSO has been successfully audited for certification of its IMS system conforming to ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 & ISO 50001:2018.

Research Designs & Standards Organization (RDSO), Lucknow is the sole R&D Wing of Ministry of Railways. The Management System of RDSO is certified to ISO 9001 Standard since 1997 for Research, Design, Development and Standardization of Railway Equipment & their sub Systems, Vendor Development, Inspections and also for technical consultancy to Railways, others and Support Services to all RDSO Directorates & Site Offices.

IMS Certification Body “M/s Vexil Business Process Services Private Limited, Delhi” conducted Certification Audit of RDSO for a period of 2 days from 23rd January 2023 to 24th January 2023 and found the Organisation in compliance to the International Standards.

Auditors of M/s Vexil Business Process Services Private Limited, Delhi recommended the award of IMS system certification conforming to ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 & ISO 50001:2018 Certificate to RDSO for a period of 03 years. Shri Sanjiv Bhutani, Director General, RDSO congratulated RDSO officials and employees for this achievement.
