Class of 1975 contributed generously a sum of INR 2.43 crores. Over the last two decades, this donation has been used by IITK in creating 4 Faculty Chairs, 1 Foundation,1 Distinguished Lecture Series, 2 Student Scholarships for providing international travel grants, cash awards to students for publishing research papers. Since 2017, undesignated donations by the batch of 1975 are being used for giving scholarships to under graduate students.
