About KV IIT Kanpur
Established in 1965, Kendriya Vidyalaya IIT Kanpur (KV IITK) has grown into a centre of holistic learning — consistently excelling in academics, sports, and cultural activities. Over the decades it has nurtured young minds and prepared them to be future-ready citizens of India.
Despite its achievements, KV IIT Kanpur aims to modernize classroom delivery. Current teaching methods are largely manual and analogue, which limits opportunities for personalized and technology-driven learning. To bridge this gap the school envisions introducing Smart Classrooms equipped with interactive smartboards across all grades.
By integrating technology into daily learning, students will enjoy curiosity-driven, inclusive, and future-ready education. This initiative supports the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020’s vision for technology-enabled, experiential learning environments.
Once implemented, the project will benefit nearly 2,000 students every year, giving them access to modern educational resources that match the pace of a changing world.
