Undergraduate research has grown to levels of sophistication today. Virtually, every university that is active in research has grown to understand the importance of research to be inculcated from the early days. Active strategies to involve young minds in answering inquisitive questions that they may have is give very high priority in those universities. In fact, annual conferences are held to not only recognize select young achievers but also to share successful strategies of universities to encourage undergraduate students to take to research. The Universities in the United States of America have come together to form a Council on Undergraduate Research to institutionalize undergraduate research.
