- University of Melbourne: We met the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Dean and Head of Melbourne Medical School (#1 rated in Australia), and many specialised centres for cancer, infection, health technologies, and the MIPA academic program, to name a few. We reviewed our 5-year MOU and discussed the progress made.
- Monash University: The team visited Victorian Heart Centre, Biomedical Discovery Institute, Velos Biomedical Accelerator, and many other relevant centres and departments. We met leadership at the Dean level, and they were happy to learn about GSMST and eager to partner with us at many levels of engagement.
- La Trobe University: We have an MOU with La Trobe for student mobility and JDP. We run the IITK-La Trobe University Research Academy with close to ~45 JDP PhD students in all disciplines. Our conversation with La Trobe leadership mainly focused on the possibility of cooperation for our proposed nursing school. La Trobe is rated in the QS top #50 worldwide in nursing and paramedicine.
