Improving your emotional health can be a rewarding experience, benefiting all aspects of your life, including boosting your mood, building resilience, and adding to your overall enjoyment of life. A vast scientific literature has detailed how negative emotions harm the body.


Serious, sustained stress or fear can alter biological systems in a way that, over time, adds up to wear and tear and, in the long run it can lead to major illnesses.


People who enjoy emotional well being are able to handle life's inevitable challenges, build strong relationships, and lead productive, fulfilling lives. One of the most important thing for them to achieve emotional health is to find a welcoming social environment on campus and IITK aims to do that. IITK is not just an institute, but a home away from home for you There are events for acclimatizing the freshmen to the new environment, and also support systems to help deal with mental health issues of the students.
