We are fabricating all our Organic Devices in Glove box.Glove box is filled with inert Nitrogen gas, Oxygen and H2O levels are very low (approximately 1-2ppm for oxygen and 1-3ppm for water) inside glove box which prevents the degradation of Organic material during fabrication of devices. Our Glove box is attached with Thermal evaporator. This evaporator consists of 4 evaporation sources, so 4 different materials can be deposited simultaneously in a single run at pressure of 10*-7 mbar. There is a provision for heating the substrate during deposition in high vacuum. Spin coating unit is most extensively used for solution processing of organic devices. Spin coating Unit inside the glove box allows us to coat various solution processable organic and inorganic materials. Inbuilt Heating Chamber and a separate hot plate allows us to anneal samples either in low vacuum or in nitrogen environment. IV measurement unit allows us to do measurements with in the glove box, so that our devices are safe from the deleterious and seasonal environmental effects. A complete processing of Organic Device Fabrication and Characterization can be done inside the glove box.
