SIDBI - IIT Kanpur

This website is designed as a technical support platform for Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), Lucknow by Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur. SIDBI is the Principal Financial Institution for the Promotion, Financing, and Development of the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector and for coordination of the functions of the institutions engaged in similar activities. SIDBI is committed to serving the MSME sector by reaching out to the unreached, serving the unserved, and funding the unfunded. SIDBIs interventions are focussed on poverty alleviation, employment generation, entrepreneurship development, and development of the MSME sector through enhanced cash flow to the sector as well as through various non-financial interventions.
Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IITK), is one of the premier institutes to provide meaningful education, conduct original research of the highest standard, and provide leadership in technological innovation for the industrial growth of the country. IITK imparts and undertakes cutting-edge research in various areas of science, engineering, design, management, and humanities and has eminent faculty and excellent research facilities. Its alumni are now known worldwide for entrepreneurship and excellence.
Both the organizations believe in mutual collaboration for the upliftment of the industrial sector in India. They came up with an endeavor to develop this knowledge platform in order to bring synergies by combining the strength and capabilities of both, so that various MSMEs units across India could be provided technical expertise.

The team at Imagineering Laboratory IIT Kanpur under the coordination of Prof. J. Ramkumar and Dr. Amandeep Singh, will provide the advisory, technical assistance, and knowledge inputs to the MSMEs.
