Elementary learning |
– the first confrontation between abstracts and complex phenomena |
Age Group : |
2 to 3 years |
Duration : |
Half Day (9 AM to 1 PM) |
At this age, children are fully mobile and very much aware of their likes and dislikes. Their highly inquisitive brain needs opportunities and activities to explore on their own and make new learning experiences. The activities need not be just of practical interest but must also involve abstracts and complex phenomena (inner psychological thought process or invisible natural phenomena). Children also tend to find play partners of other age groups and competency which leads to a lot of cooperative game building.
Keeping in mind all the individual needs of a high energy group, the teachers at Snehan formulate the goals. We also ensure that the room atmosphere/setting, materials available, extent of teacher intervention/guidance and freedom to explore only foster enhanced concentration, learning and depth of penetration.
Our curriculum is formulated after taking into consideration the seven fundamental areas of learning – spoken/written language; motor/health; natural sciences/technical; mathematical; musical; art; socio-cultural/moral development.
