Guidelines

1. The main admissions for the new April session take place in the second half of March every year. However, depending on the availability of seats, we may offer mid-session admissions and admit children in later months. In such cases, the fee structure varies slightly.
2. Snehan admits children of age from 1 year to less than 7 years.
   • Creche for children of 1-2 years age. A child can join either for a half day (9 AM to 1 PM) or for a full day (9 AM to 6 PM) with a lunch break from 1 to 2 PM.
   • Play Group for children of 2-3 years age. A child can join either for a half day (9 AM to 1 PM) or for a full day (9 AM to 6 PM) with a lunch break from 1 to 2 PM.
   • Activity Group for school going children of age upto 8 years. These children can join in the afternoon from 2 to 6 PM.
3. Children of the following categories are considered for admission:
   • Children of IIT Kanpur faculty, staff and students.
   • Children of IIT Kanpur project employees subject to the availability of seats.
   • Grand-children of IIT Kanpur employees subject to the availability of seats.

   Note: Parents with Visiting positions or attending conferences can avail day care facilities for their children through prior booking; Coordinator or PI. of the Centre can be contacted for queries regarding the possibility of admission for a special case subject to the availability of seats.

4. Apart from the regular sessions, “Weekend Day Care” is functional on Saturdays from 9 AM to 6 PM. Parents can register this group via mail or telephone.
