Performance of IIT Kanpur was better as compared to the last year but was not upto the mark of expectations. IIT Kanpur secured 6th position in the overall (men) with 8 points and 2nd position in the overall (women) with 22 points.

     We won Bronze Medal in Volleyball, Silver Medal in Waterpolo, Gold Medal in Badminton (Girls) and Bronze Medal in athletics (Girls).

    Mr. Sandeep Yedlapalli won Gold Medal in Shotput. Mr. Rajeev Kapoor won Bronze Medal in 5000m race. Ms. Jyoti Mishra won Gold Medal in 400 m race. Mr. Avinash Rawat won Bronze Medal in Weightlifting (69-77 kg. category) along with Mr. Ritesh Kumar and Rakesh Kumar with 4th position in their respective weight categories. Mr. U Ganapathi was chosen as Mr. Inter IIT ’05. In Badminton (men), TT(Girls) and Basketball(Men) IITK secured 4th position. In Athletics (Girls) we secured Bronze Medal in 4 x 100 m relay. Ms Gitika Chaddha secured 4th position in Shotput.
