The Planetary Science laboratory aims to demonstrate and uncover through experiments geophysical processes active in and responsible for the features observed on planetary objects and their dynamical evolution. For this, presently we are working with rotating ionised fluids in a magnetic field, flowing grains with interspersed boulders, and waves through heterogeneous solids. The aim is to investigate the structure of rings within Saturn's magnetosphere, the reshaping of granular minor planets like the asteroids Ryugu and Bennu due to landslides, and the impact-induced texturing of small bodies like the asteroid Itokawa.
