Next Generation Broadcasting Chair
ONE Media Broadcast Group, Inc. instituted The Next Generation Broadcasting Chair. This chair is open to faculty from the departments of engineering.
ONE Media 3.0, headquartered in Hunt Valley, Maryland, USA, is a subsidiary of Sinclair Broadcast Group, Inc. It aims to build and globally deploy the Next Generation Broadcast Platform, enabling broadcasters to be competitive across all platforms in delivering enhanced video and data services.

Prof. Adrish Banerjee, from the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Kanpur, works on green communications, wireless communications, error control coding, cognitive radio, visible light communications, and molecular communications. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, USA. He is a recipient of the IETE Prof. K. Sreenivasan Memorial Award, the P. K. Kelkar Research Fellowship, the Young Engineer Award from the Institution of Engineers (India), and the Microsoft Research India Outstanding Young Faculty Award.
