Dr. Mahua Menon and Mr. Ranodeb Roy Young Faculty Research Fellowship
Mr. Ranodeb Roy instituted Dr. Mahua Menon and Mr. Ranodeb Roy Young Faculty Research Fellowship that is open to faculty of all the departments of sciences and engineering, IIT Kanpur . Mr. Ranodeb Roy (BT/CSE/1990) is the Co-founder, CEO, and Chief Investment Officer of RV Capital Management Private Limited, an asset management company based in Singapore. With over 30 years of experience in global financial markets, he has held several leadership roles at major financial institutions. Prior to founding RV Capital in 2011, he served as Managing Director and Head of Fixed Income Asia Pacific at Morgan Stanley in Hong Kong. He also held senior positions at Merrill Lynch, including Managing Director and Co-Head of the Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC) Group, and worked across key financial hubs such as New York, Tokyo, and Hong Kong. Mr. Roy began his career at Bank of America in Mumbai in 1992.

Prof. Manjesh Kumar Singh from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Kanpur has research interests in tribology, soft matter, rheology, complex fluid flow, molecular simulations, nanomaterials, and surface and interface phenomena, with a particular focus on the behaviour of polymers and other soft materials. Prof. Singh completed his B.E. from Bengal Engineering and Science University (now IIEST Shibpur), M.E. from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, and Ph.D. from ETH Zurich, Switzerland.

Prof. Mohammed Ibrahim Sugarno

Prof. Mohammed Ibrahim Sugarno is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at IIT Kanpur. His research interests and expertise are in experimental hypersonic aerodynamics. He has been awarded scholarships and fellowships during doctoral and post-doctoral research period which enabled him to travel abroad and carryout research activities in both academic and research institutes in Australia, Japan and Germany. He obtained his PhD in Aerospace Engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.
