Mr. Dharmendra N. Choudhary serves as a Foreign Trade Counsel at Grunfeld, Desiderio, Lebowitz, Silverman & Klestadt LLP, Washington, DC. He assists clients with global trade issues, particularly those involving surrogate value and economic research in India and other Asian and Asian and European countries.
Mr. Choudhary did his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 1988. He subsequently went on to obtain his degrees in LLB from Delhi University, India in 2005 and LLM from New York University School of Law in 2007. Mr. Choudhury has also served for 13 years with the Indian Customs Department in various capacities, including Assistant, Deputy, Joint and Additional Commissioner. He has extensive contacts at various levels of government and trade in India and many other countries in South East Asia and Europe, and also assists the DOC and ITC immensely in various trade cases. With his vast experience and wide knowledge of trade issues, he has been very successful in bringing together U.S. based importers and distributors and foreign manufacturers and exporters in a multitude of diverse industries.
