Dr. Dev Joneja is currently the Chief Risk Officer at Exodus Point Capital Management, US.
Dr. Joneja did his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering in 1984 at IIT Kanpur. He earned his PhD. from Cornell University. He was the Global Head of Risk and Analytics at Millennium Management LLC and has also served as its Senior Managing Director. Before joining the firm in 2009, Dr. Joneja was at Lehman Brothers for 13 years and served as the Head of Fixed Income Research and as the Global Head of Lehman Indices and Point. He has also served on the faculty at the Graduate School of Business at Columbia University in New York. Dr. Joneja is one of the top benefactors of IITK. He instituted Arjun Dev Joneja Faculty Chair, Smt. Pavitar Joneja Chair, and Class of 1984 Faculty Research Fellowship. His generosity knows no bounds, as he donated significantly toward the Campus Worker Campaign and Online Education Campaign for IITK students. He is the recipient of the prestigious IITK Distinguished Alumnus Award, 2021.
