Mr. Aloke Bajpai currently serves as the Co-founder and Group CEO of ixigo, an Indian AI-based online travel business.
Mr. Bajpai received his bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 2001, and subsequently received his MBA from INSEAD, Fontainebleau & Singapore. A travel industry veteran, Mr. Bajpai worked at Amadeus in France as a software engineer prior to launching ixigo in India in 2007. Under his leadership, the ixigo received backing from investors such as Govt. of Singapore, Sequoia Capital, Elevation Partners, InfoEdge Ventures among other investors, and has grown to become a leading Online Travel Aggregator, assisting over 63 million monthly active users in India by leveraging artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data science-led innovations. Ixigo trains and Confirm TKT were featured amongst the top 10 travel applications worldwide. A big supporter of entrepreneurship, Mr. Bajpai is an investor and advisor for several startups and accelerators in India. He is also a charter member of the IndUS Entrepreneurs (TiE). He was honored with the Distinguished Alumnus Award by IIT Kanpur in 2022.
