Mr. Amit Gupta is a Co-founder and CEO of Yulu, a company that aims to reduce traffic congestion by providing a scalable, affordable, efficient and clean solution for the first mile, last mile, and short distance commute.
Mr. Gupta did B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 2000 and earned an Executive Program from Harvard Business School in 2010. His entrepreneurial skills led him to start Inmobi as a Co-founder, Indian global mobile advertising technology company based out of Bangalore, India. He was also a Global Board Member at Mobile Marketing Association 2014 - 2017. In the year 2017, he founded Yulu, a technology-driven mobility platform, enabling integrated urban mobility across public and private modes of transport. The company operates in Bengaluru, Delhi, Gurugram, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Pune, and Bhubaneswar with 18,000 single-seater vehicles across 2.5 million users. The company believes that short commute mode can be made more efficient, affordable and green, thereby ensuring that future generations will have a healthy environment to live. The company wants to replace big personal vehicles with a smaller form factor that does not require fossil fuel. The company is using IoT technology to create a vast network of shared dockless bicycles that can be rented easily by a user-friendly app in pay per use business model. The venture is a mission-driven company based out of India with a solid founding team and big ambitions. He had earlier been a Founder & Board Advisor at Analytics Works. Mr. Gupta has been playing an active part in building a vibrant startup ecosystem. He is an angel investor and also advises young entrepreneurs on the various aspects of running a startup. Mr. Amit Gupta was conferred with the Distinguished Alumnus Award, 2013 from IIT Kanpur.
