Mr. Nikhil Kurele is the Co-founder of Nocca Robotics, a leading startup in the cleantech and healthcare industry. Noccarc Robotics is also an incubatee company of SIIC, IIT Kanpur.
Mr. Kurele did his B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 2016. He was a Graduate Engineering Trainee at Bajaj Auto Limited from 2016 to 2017. A ten-month stint at Bajaj Auto Limited after graduating from IIT K gave him exposure to automation in assembly and machining processes. While at IIT K, he developed an interest in robotics and became the secretary of the Robotics Club. He did his Summer Internships from Tata Technologies and Frugal Innovation in Design and Technology, IIT Kanpur in 2015 and 2014 respectively.
Mr. Kurele's company, Noccarac Robotics, rose up to the challenge by developing indigenous ventilators in India. During the wave of Covid 19 pandemic (2020-2021), it manufactured large quantities of ventilators. Noccarc Robotics steadily amplified its capabilities in the past few months and on the 23rd May 2021, the company achieved its all-time record by producing 103 ventilators in a single day. Mr. Kurele has been featured in the prestigious Forbes 30 under 30 Asia, 2020.
