Mr. Sanjay Trivedi is the Founder Director of the Indian Home & Personal care Industry Association, Mumbai since 2011. He is also the Director & CEO of Technithon International Pte Ltd, a Singapore-based company with a specialization in cutting-edge sulfonation processes, surfactants, and environmental technologies.
Mr. Trivedi did his B.Tech in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 1975. Subsequently, he earned a diploma in business management from St. Xavier's College, Mumbai in 1976. He has close to 45 years of experience with Surfactants, specialties, Sulfurics and palm & coconut oil based technologies, engineering and building process plants. He is also the Chairman of Trivedi Group, a diversified group based in Mumbai offering plants and services. Mr. Trivedi's group projects outside India include an Edible oil refinery in Mozambique, a fatty acid fractionation plant in Uzbekistan, surfactant projects in Malaysia & Indonesia, and a fixed bed hydrogenation plant in Malaysia, and Asphalt Sulfonation plants in Abu Dhabi & the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Mr. Trivedi was a consultant to International Finance Corporation (IFC), the USA for 11 years for soap, detergent, and edible oil projects. He also holds 5 patents for air pollution & sustainable technologies for Sulfurics and surfactants.
