Prof. Peeyush Chandra

Prof. Peeyush Chandra served for over three decades at IIT Kanpur and retired as Professor in 2015. Prof. Peeyush Chandra is a retired Professor from Department of Mathematics at IIT Kanpur. His areas of interest are Bio-Fluid Mechanics, Fluid Mechanics (Low Reynolds Number Flow) Lubrication Theory,Magnetic Fluids,Ecological Modeling, Mathematical Epidemiology.


Profile

Prof. Peeyush Chandra completed his B.Sc. from Meerut University in 1969 and went on to complete his M.Sc.(Mathematics) in 1971 and Ph.D from I.I.T. Kanpur in 1976. He completed his postdoctoral from Mehta Research Institute Allahabad in 1982.
