Dr. Rahul Mangal is an Assistant Professor in Chemical Engineering department at IIT Kanpur. His research interests include Soft Matter, Polymer Physics, Active Matter and Liquid Crystals.
Prof. Mangal did his B.Tech and M.Tech ( Dual Degree ) in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kanpur in 2010. He went on to do his PhD from Cornell University, USA in 2016 and a post-doc from University of Wisconsin Madison, USA. He was a Manager at Reliance Industry Limited from 2010 to 2012. He also served as a Graduate Research Assistant at Cornell University, USA from 2012 to 2016.
Prof. Mangal is a recipient of Young Engineer Award (2020) by Indian National Academy of Engineering (INAE).
