The UNDP Knowledge network center is aimed at developing resilience and adaptation to water related disasters such as floods and waterlogging and to understand the future risks in view of climate change scenario. The knowledge in this very important area is rather fragmentary at this stage and an institutional framework to put this knowledge and the scientific team together will go a long way to help the society build resilience to these disasters and the policy managers and field engineers to design better strategies for their sustainable management.
