Kotak School of Sustainability, IIT Kanpur (https://kss.iitk.ac.in/), an interdisciplinary hub pioneering world-class education, fundamental and translational research, and outreach activities for leading India—and the world—towards a sustainable future, signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) that marks the beginning of a strategic partnership with the Department of Energy, Government of Odisha (GoO) and the Tony Blair Institute for Global Change (TBI). This collaboration aims to establish a robust framework for the formation and promotion of a Community of Practice (CoP) for Energy Ministers across Indian states. The CoP will serve as a dynamic platform for peer learning, the exchange of best practices, and policy innovation in the energy sector. Its overarching goal is to accelerate India’s transition toward affordable, reliable, and clean energy, thereby contributing significantly to the country’s sustainable development agenda.
