Research Topic
The topic of my PhD thesis is "Simulations of High Velocity Impact Phenomena in Solids Using Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH)". To this end, a 2D FORTRAN code based on the meshless method SPH is developed to study the mechanics of deformation and fracture of solids subjected to dynamic plane wave loading.
