The BS and BS-MS program in Statistics and Data Science was established in 2021 and is one of the only programs admitted through JEE (Advanced) that is focused on Statistical Sciences. The program aims to balance mathematical rigor along with practical experience, striking a balance between theory and practice, preparing graduates for careers in research, academia, industry, and government. The program also provides an opportunity for students from other disciplines to pursue a Double Major or Minor in Statistics and Data Science. Our students are exceptionally well placed, as well as routinely pursue Masters and PhD degrees.
