Admissions for each of the academic programs is through their respective centralized systems:

• BS and BS-MS Statistics and Data Science: Admission to the BS program is through JEE (Advanced) and this is a highly sought after four-year program. Students interested in pursuing an MS may apply to obtain a BS-MS by continuing on for a fifth year.
• MSc Statistics: Admission to the MSc program is through JAM and remains one of the most sought after Statistics MSc programs in the country.
• PhD Statistics: Admission to the PhD program happens centrally through the Dean of Academic Affairs, twice a year for admission in July and December. More information can be found here: https://iitk.ac.in/doaa/pgadmission/
