On January 31, 2024, Professor Dhirendra S. Katti, and Prof. Priyanka Ghosh handed over the positions of Director and Academic Program Director at IIT Kanpur - La Trobe University Research Academy to Prof. Ashok Kumar and Prof. Raju Kumar Gupta respectively.

IIT Kanpur expresses its gratitude to the previous Director Prof. S. C. Srivastava and previous Academic Program Director Prof. Priyanka Ghosh for their contributions in taking the Research Academy to a praiseworthy position.
