Award Information:
The objective of the NYU Tandon-IIT Kanpur Joint Research Funding is to develop ideas and preliminary work that could be incorporated into successful joint proposals to funding agencies such as U.S. National Science Foundation (NSF) and the Department of Science and Technology (DST) for Collaborative Research Opportunities.
PIs from NYU Tandon and IIT Kanpur will be required to jointly apply for the seed grant by submitting a detailed proposal. Each selected proposal will be funded US $20,000 for NYU PI expenses, and INR 15,00,000 for IITK PI expenses. Up to 7 such proposals will be funded.
The seed grants are primarily to facilitate travel of the PIs and their graduate students and hosting collaborators.
