IIT Kanpur participated in the PAN IIT2024 Global Conference, held at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in Washington DC, USA from January 12th to 14th, 2024. Ambassador Taranjit Singh Sandhu, Embassy of India in Washington, DC, hosted IIT participants at the embassy and delivered the welcome remarks at the Global Conference. The IITK delegation had the privilege of hosting a separate session with IITK alumni. Some of the IITK alumni who were invited speakers at the event include Prof. Rakesh Jain (Harvard University, USA), Prof. Abhay Karandikar (Secretary DST, GoI), Mr. Neeraj Mittal (Secretary DoT, GoI), Mr. Arbind Krishna (CEO IBM, USA). The event was a successful convergence of intellect and collaboration and discussed frontier areas of science, technology and health for a better world.
