Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur

The Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, hosted a course on Robotics as part of the Indian Technical and Economic Cooperation (ITEC) initiative by the Ministry of External Affairs, India. The focus of ITEC courses has been on capacity building, imparting technical skills and theoretical knowledge. The Robotics course was led by distinguished faculty members Prof. Ashish Datta, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Prof. K.R. Guruprasad, also from the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Nine countries participated in the program, and government officials, diplomats, and researchers from these nations took part in the course.

The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of Prof. Bushra Ateeq, Dean of International Relations, who extended a warm welcome to all participants on behalf of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and the Office of International Relations, IIT Kanpur.
