As part of the prestigious KU-STAR Program for India 2025, two students from IIT Kanpur - Mr. Sarthak Sarkar (Department of Economics) and Mr. Aman Shukla (Department of Materials Science and Engineering)- have begun their 59-day research engagement at Kyoto University, starting May 20th.
The program offers structured academic and cultural immersion, including hands-on research in Kyoto University laboratories and industry exposure, offering practical insights into real-world business operations and understanding industry dynamics .
This collaboration enhances research capacity, nurtures global perspectives, and supports the academic and professional growth of our students. Participation in such initiatives also strengthens IIT Kanpur’s international engagement and visibility.
