The Gangwal School of Medical Sciences and Technology (GSMST) at IIT Kanpur and the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry, and Health Sciences (FMDHS) at The University of Melbourne formalized a pivotal collaboration through a Memorandum of Understanding signed on November 30th, 2023.

The signing ceremony, led by Prof. S Ganesh, Director of IIT Kanpur; Prof. Mike McGuckin, Deputy Dean of FMDHS; and Prof. Muthupandian Ashokkumar, Assistant Deputy Vice-Chancellor International (India), University of Melbourne, marks a significant step toward joint research initiatives, faculty exchanges, and transformative projects in the realm of global medical sciences and technology.
