On March 11, 2024, IIT Kanpur welcomed Prof. Johannes Hachmann from the Department of Chemical Engineering, University at Buffalo. Prof. Hachmann, joined by Prof. Dhirendra S. Katti, Dean of International Relations, and his research collaborator Prof. Jayant K. Singh from the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT Kanpur engaged in deliberations about potential collaborative initiatives between University at Buffalo and IIT Kanpur.
